I'm Eric, a programmer living in New York City.

I am originally from Toronto and attended Harvard University as part of the undergraduate Class of 2024, where I graduated with a joint concentration (a fancy term for "not-quite-double major") in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as a concurrent Master's Degree in Statistics.

I currently work as a developer at Jane Street. Previously, I interned at Stripe, worked part-time at VectorShift, and served as a teaching assistant for a few courses on-campus. In bygone past lives, I sourced deals and led cases for a student-run consulting group and competed in chemistry competitions.

I reside within the shadowy and liminal streets of downtown Manhattan. Outside of work, I am an avid aficionado of distance running, road biking, snow sports, choral singing, and similar Schelling points of mischief. I occasionally write, which you can read more about here.

I can be found on, in decreasing order of activity, Strava, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You can reach me at eric dot mm dot shen at gmail dot com.
